We're bringing the old-school friendship book into the present, where being offline and reconnecting with your friends matters the most.Kicking off with a bookbinding workshop! Where you will create your very own 'Purry pocket' and start your journey into social and visual poetry. 

What is Kitty Purr?
Kitty purr is a series of meetups that aims to bring back social and visual poetry for adults in an inclusive manner. Friendship books like the traditional ‘Poesie Album’ have been around for ages, but the poetry has gradually disappeared as we grow older. During the meetups, we will reconnect with ourselves and each other through true visual poetry, writing, and drawing. Every meetup ends with an in-depth workshop with a special theme and guest artist. 


Create your Own Purry pocket
We will start this series with a bookbinding workshop inside the local printmaking workshop 'Grafische werkplaats Raaf ', here we will meet for the first time and you will create your own version of a Poesie Album. Your very own ‘Purry Pocket’. This little book will be your poetical canvas, for sharing and keeping all the new inspiring perspectives with your (new) friends.
